Our Most Popular Pathway
Step 1 – Initial Naturopathic Consultation
Meet with a Naturopathic Doctor (ND) to review your medical history, define your goals, and build an initial care plan.
Step 2 – Nurse Practitioner Visit
If appropriate and desired, your Nurse Practitioner (NP) can prescribe hormone therapy. OHIP-covered blood work will be ordered to assess overall well-being, including lipids, blood sugar, nutrient status, and potentially hormones.
Note: Hormones, if prescribed, vary in cost and may be partially or entirely covered through your extended drug benefit plan.
Step 3 – ND Follow-Up (4–6 weeks later)
Review blood work results and assess how your initial changes are going.
Step 4 – NP Follow-Up (~3 months after prescription)
Ensure hormone dosages are correct and on track. Subsequent NP renewals every 4–6 months as indicated.
Ongoing ND Support
Follow-up with your ND every 4–6 weeks until a good routine is established, then intermittently as directed.
